Paintin' and Writin'

Well, I woke up this morning with my hands covered in paint and marker.

All completely ok though, because last night I discovered something pretty great.

I've been wanting to start an art journal for some time.

Especially after I stumbled upon Teesha Moores.

Hers are incredible.

Right now.

Ok, so after seeing hers and spending hours of my life on youtube watching other people create their art journals, I decided to take the plunge.

I went to Michaels and got some stuff.

Nothing too exciting.

Just paint, a book in which to keep my journal, a tape roller thingy, some paint brushes, and a magazine to cut to shreds.

And 50 bucks later (this I was not to pleased about at first, but now I realize.. totally worth it) here I am.

I do believe Ms. Moore would be proud.

At least I hope so, I was trying to channel her artist genius.

I think I've found the best hobby ever.

You should try it dude.

Almost Spring

Is it spring break yet?

Boy, oh, boy, do I wish it was.

But, sadly, it's about one month away.

Breath, Natalie.

You can make it.

Then it'll be a whole week of  bliss.

I'll get some ice cream.

I'll walk by the water and maybe dip my toes in.

Maybe I'll even get to pet another sting ray somewhere.

Or maybe I'll catch another fish.

But realistically, I'll just be seeing a heck of a lot of this cutie.

Be jealous, ladies. 

Just a million and three projects and tests stand between now and then.

I've got this. 

March, you better get your butt here as fast as February did. 

I'm expecting you.

50/50 Makes Me Money

Since I don't have a television and could not watch the Super Bowl from the comfort of my bed, I did not watch it. 

Instead, I did what any normal person would do and went to Redbox.

Side note, if they put a Redbox on a college campus, they'd make big bucks.

Just sayin'.

Well, I got Moneyball and 50/50.

I really liked Moneyball.

It gave me some serious goosebumps.

Plus I like Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill.

So it was a win in my books.

Not that a win in my book counts for much.

50/50 on the other hand.

First off, it made me laugh.

You know you're doin' good if you make me laugh.

Plus Joseph Gordon-Levitt is so great.

This movie also made me realize that if God loves the people in my family, he will not give me cancer.

I would be an awful person to take care of.

People, I can't even handle colds.

I'm a huge baby.

Like a lay-around-all-day-and-do-nothing-but-whine-until-someone-takes-care-of-me baby.

If you're ever around when I'm sick, I suggest you leave.

I'm not very nice to be around.

And if I'm this unpleasant with a cold, imagine me with a terminal illness.

Now go out and watch yo-selves a movie, dawg. 

A Parisian Super Bowl

Happy Sunday cutie pies.

I can't believe it's already time for the Super Bowl.

It's unreal how fast this year is flying by.

I'm not a huge pro football kind of girl so for me this game isn't a big deal.

The only reason I really watch is for the commercials.

It's Friday lovelies and I'm gettin' down.

What am I really doing?

Well...

I went to class for an hour, got the sweetest email from my boy, took a three hour nap, got free lunch, did a little homework, caught up on tv, and now I'm gonna go make some cookies.

I'm tellin' ya, it doesn't get much better than this.

Very 8th grade.

But what's even better than middle school?

Well, a lot.

Especially if we're talking about my middle school years which we're not.

Anways, what's better?

PUPPIES!

How cute is this puppy?

I want him.

But, I'm not allowed to have one.

Stupid rules. No one follows them anyways.

Why can't I smuggle in a puppy?

Worst part is there were 6 more like him and they were all free.

He could have been mine.

My heart broke when I knew I couldn't have one.

Oh well.

Maybe next year.

Electronically Stunted

To say that computers and I do not get along would be a major understatement.

In fact, it's not just computers.

It's anything electronic.

If it has an on/off button, switch, etc., it will completely break down in my presence.

It legitimately makes me want to scream sometimes.

For example, I always love finding new blogs to follow.

It makes me happy and brightens my day to read about the lives of other people.

(What can I say? I'm a creep)

Anyways, in totally I'm probably following somewhere around 50 blogs.

But you'd never know it considering my blogger dashboard will only show me 17 of them.

Can we say messed up?

Messed up.

Also, my iPhone keeps freezing.

The screen on my tablet is glitchy.

Basically, my computer is the only thing working at this point, but even it is feeling a little questionable.

Someone please teach me how to not make things break.

I'd love you forever.

Or at least until something else broke.



Fun Times in February.

Holy moly.

Can you believe it's already February?

This year is just flyin' by.

And this week is going way too fast.

I can't handle all this.

I'm gettin' old people.

See what I mean?

Just kidding.

I'm 18.

Last time I checked the only people who consider that old, are probably still in diapers.

Anyways, February holds lots of excitement.

Valentine's day.

It's a leap year so we get an extra day.

Oh, and this blogger is going to be a part of her favorite blog, Living in Yellow, all month long!
